If you are searching for a home on Lake Sinclair and have been you’ll be happy to know things have improved in the real estate market. No, the prices didn’t crash and I don’t expect that to happen. However, it’s less of a seller’s market and we are not currently seeing 5 to 15 offers on every new listing. It’s closer to a stable market with now 4 months of inventory on the market. While the days on the market still aren’t long, we certainly are also seeing it increase from 15 minutes to a few days for those properties priced right. We’ve also seen 40 price reductions in the past 14 days and that means that sellers and some agents have figured out people aren’t paying crazy over list prices anymore. I personally expect flat prices for a time and modest if any value improvements until inflation is back under control.
